My own scary movie
You’ve done this while watching a scary movie, yelling “Run!” or “Don’t go in there!” at the screen as if you would know exactly what to do in that situation. So here I find myself, stuck in my car with an unknown man leaning on my window mumbling something to me and I cannot move. I’m frozen.
I’ve been to Venus (My first time at a strip club)
Contrary to popular belief that Tampa is the “strip club capital of the world,” it’s not, nor is it even the strip club capital of Florida. However, Tampa Bay Partnership reported that it was No. 3 in America on a per capita basis in 2006. And in 2009, TMZ reported that there are more strip clubs than hospitals, high schools, fire stations or synagogues within the city. However you look at it, Tampa is a hotspot for nude entertainment, so why is it that I had never been?
USF’s flash fashion show
Students of ENC 1102 put on a flash fashion show to bring awareness to the bad influence of media on body image on April 26. The students wanted to express that every girl is beautiful no matter how she looks or what her size is. Check out all the photos from the show here.

Do what makes you happy
You shouldn’t be with someone just because it’s the societal norm. If you’re happier alone then you should be alone. If you’re happier with someone of the same sex, opposite sex or different race then be with that person. You don’t have to be in a relationship to have a child and you don’t have to stay in one just because you do. Everyone should do what makes them happiest no matter what society labels as normal.
